Career Books and Resources
A wealth of career publications exists today, many entirely Canadian
in content. The following is a partial list of books in Janis' own career
library. Some have been reviewed in her columns, others used frequently
as reference guides. This list is open-ended, however. Other career publications
and resources will be added from time to time.
Most of the books on this list are available through major bookstores.
You'll also find some of them in major libraries, and it might be a good
idea, whenever possible, to review a library copy first to see if the
book speaks to you.
In each case, we've offered the publisher's name and/or the ISBN. If
the book isn't in stock at your local bookstore, give your bookseller
this information and ask if it can be ordered. Some of these books, although
excellent, are out of print. Check with second hand book dealers.
